What is the temperature around (about an inch from the flame) a gas stove burner?

I trying to find out the temperature near a burner because I’m trying to repair a chip in the porcelain of my stove. I want to see if there is a paint to do this.

Yes any porcelain touch up paint will work. Remember heat rises. And the touch up paints are designed for these applications. I have used them on stoves close to the burners before and they work fine.
