Childhood for Me

My childhood is not the same now. It used to be different. I used to listen. I liked to listen. I used to listen to music. Now I do not. I used to try to police the children in my area. I do not anymore because as a child of the times I do not know how. I do know one thing, though: It is easy being young. It is easier than being two. When I was one it was really easy.

A Child at Heart

Babies and children. This is the circle of life. The is not the deal of the day. Any baby or child in a normal American family might be aware of the circle of life. The children in my neighborhood do not know about it. I myself am young. If I become old I will still be myself but if I were two I would like to be even younger. I am never satisfied because I am a child at heart.

A Child's View of Cars

Childhood is fun. I am very young. I am still a child but I like everything about cars and trucks. I wish I had a car. I wish I had to pay car insurance. Did I mention that Wilhelm Reich, M.D., was opposed to insurance? I should have mentioned that earlier. But as a child of two, I am in favor of anything that is fun. I especially like plastic cars.

Childhood Dreams

Because I dream. That is what I said to the interviewer. I am here because I dream. He asked me what did I mean. I said I am here in your office because I dreamed I would get a job. "But you're only two," he said.

"That doesn't bother me," I told him. "I would like to work in this movie theater."

He asked me what I could do. I said I could sell popcorn. I like popcorn, but I could also sell it. I am a child who has bright ideas all the time. Selling popcorn is one of my best. I figure I could sell some and eat the rest myself. This way the theater wouldn't waste any.

A Child Who Can Walk Can Drive

I am a child. I am two. I like cars, though. My favorite cars are yellow. I like Mustangs. I like sports cars. I like good sam roadside assistance. I do not drive. But I hope to drive soon. I hope to use my skill at walking to drive. I can walk. I fall down a lot. But in a car I can sit.

Child's Toys from Around the World

As a child I have been to many different toy stores but I cannot remember one like this. I have been to a toy store in the West African nation of Gabon. But the safety products I use cannot compare to the safety features on these toys. They sell red toys. They sell a number of other kinds of products. The child's toys they feature are not all of the same kind. They also have child products from France. They carry Spanish and Mexican products for children as well.

Child of the Century

I want to be. I mean Child of the Century. This way I could vote. I want to vote for a child. As a child I think I should vote for a child. I think a child could do good. A child is needed in the White House too. If I was a child in the White House I would do good. I would help children all over the world. The children I know need help. I wish I could help more children. I feel like J.D. Salinger sometimes. He loved children. He was a lot like Woody Allen. Both of them liked kids more than they liked adults. I figure as a child I could understand them.

Why A Child Wants To Color Her Hair at Age Two

I often get asked how old I am. Actually I don't get asked, my parents get asked. But the thing is that I can understand people already. The other day, for instance, this lady with orange curly hair and a loud voice came up to me and said, "Child, do you have any natural eczema treatment?" (I guess she mistook me for a store clerk despite the fact that I'm a child.) People are always asking me questions like that. They realize that I am advanced for my age. Boy was I surprised, though. She gave me a copy of the New York Times science section for April 4, 2009 and told me to read the article on hair. I told her I may be only a child but I'd like to have my hair color changed.

Why My Childhood is Fun

For me, as a youngster of two, I see pills as the solution. I'm talking vitamins, of course. I'm not so silly. I have a friend, she's also two. She told me that her younger brother, who's a child of one, is using what are called digestit. Her brother swears by them. Of course, he can't talk yet, but he swears nonetheless. He takes them with candy. His favorite is licorice. Which I do not like. I like cinnamon biscuits. And my childhood is so deliciously fun. I also like my family photos, especially when they focus on me eating.

Sunny Childhood Days

One of my favorite things to do as a child is look at books. My family has lots. They have books about hobbits too. One of the books is called The Hobbit. It is about little people. That's my kind of book. I like to hear the book read aloud. I can read too, but I'm only two years old and still a child so although I can read the book I do not understand all of it yet. But some day I will. Then I will buy my own books and read them too. Children like me are destined to be readers all their lives. My family loves children like me.

What Dust Means to Me, a Child

A year ago I developed a problem. I'm a two-year-old child, by the way. Well, as I was saying, about a year ago I developed this problem. I found that I had such a big appetite that I would just keep eating. As a youngster, I feel it is important to use, from birth onwards, natural appetite suppressants. If I had done this from birth, I would not have the problem I have. I would not see my childhood ruined by carbohydrates. One suppressant I have recently discovered is dust. When I eat a lot of dust it clogs my mouth and makes my tongue dry and I do not feel like eating immediately afterward.

How to Look and Feel Like A Natural Baby

Although I am less than three years old, I want softer skin. I want to feel vibrant. I want to look like a youngster. I'm concerned I look too old. I worry about wrinkles even though I don't have any yet. I want to use face creams to improve my youthfulness. I figure if I could shave two or three years off my looks, I'd be in good shape. I could then start dating boys who are, maybe, five or six. There are some nice boys in my area, but I haven't met them. Some of them can't talk yet.

Childhood's End - A Novel by Arthur C. Clarke

I am a child who loves books. My favorite book is Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke. I like it because it is about the future. I think about the future all the time. I can hardly walk and yet I'm wondering. I'm thinking about my family in the future. I'm thinking about me in the future. I'm thinking about what I'll eat in the future. What I can wear. What I can do. I really would like to live about a thousand years in the future when families are assisted by science and technology.

How to Feel A Few Years Younger

I am a child. I do not go to the gym. But I know people who do. My family is all about the best muscle building supplement. We care about each other and about health. We try to eat right. We avoid carbs as much as humanly possible, but admittedly sometimes that's not really possible. Obviously as a child I do not have all the experience of an adult. But even though I'm only two, I sure would like to feel a few years younger.

How To Achieve Negative Age

Some friends told me I had a chance to improve my health if I used a treadmill. I am two years old. I was intrigued when they explained that by taking various preventative measures I could look and feel up to ten or twenty years younger. I'm all for that. I guess that would make me about negative eighteen years old. That would mean I'd be born in the year 2028. I have to give this some thought, I said. But really I didn't think about it at all. I just went for it.

The Grateful Dead in 1975

Here is the Grateful Dead playing "Goin' Down the Road Feeling Bad" in 1975. Jerry Garcia on guitar. Phil Lesh singing lead vocals. You can't get better than this for a summer concert! There were sixteen children dancing in circles in the park, families enjoying the sun, mothers and their kids singing along, and family photos after the show with the band. What a great bunch of guys!

Using a Child's Toy in an Innovate Way

Frank was a neighbor of ours when we lived in Miami, Florida, in 1989. He used a child's toy for backing up his computer. The kids in the neighborhood had bought him an inflatable rubber tire, and he would jot down important information on this tire with a black magic marker. He did not use any online backup because, he said, it would be too difficult to use. He preferred to use a child's toy. One day his computer crashed and he was able to retrieve all his important data from that rubber tire.

My Favorite Book Page

I may be just a kid but I already love books. One of my favorite Web sites is Amazon books. In fact, I don't think a day goes by that I'm not on Amazon many times. Why do I like it so much? Because I can read excerpts from a lot of books. I can find new books. And I can buy books sometimes for as little as one cent. Yes, that's right. The bidding process is so fierce and competitive that books drop down to only one penny! All you pay is $3.99 for shipping and handling, and you get a book for a total of $4. Not bad, for a two year old!
