Standing

Here I am standing in my new mat. This photo, taken on Feb. 28, 2009, shows me during my first week of standing. I hold onto the railing or fence so that I don't fall. What I can do is reach out and grab toys with one hand. Sometimes I let go with both hands but I have to clutch the railing again fast because otherwise I'll lose my balance. I can also move a little from side to side, taking very slow and tentative steps. I have not mastered this action yet and so my performance is minimal and rather haphazard, but all the ingredients are there for learning more, and before long I'll be going side to side with greater speed and ability. The next step is walking!

The Expedition to Greenland in 1846

Now I am planning to go again to the Greenland outposts where Arthur Kiel was a boat man in 1846 in the early days of the invasion. I will take a camera. It is true that there are three or four adventurers who preceded me. But I will not care about them or their prior work. The thing that matters now is the clock and the camera. The clock will keep us on target. The camera will record the event for posterity and for the people back home in Canada and in New Brunswick. All told, there will be five on the expedition, including myself and the cook, Piers Thornhill. Then we will submit the complete details to the directory of online and campus courses.

My Improvement

My parents and therapist are very impressed with my improvement. They are amazed that I can stand up for a long time and almost walk unassisted. I was in my playpen. I can walk a bit from side to side if I hold onto the railing. I know I will make more progress very soon. I'm a fast learner. I have a great memory too. I remember everything I'm shown. They show me how to move and I remember it and try it myself. It's difficult to do but I'm getting better all the time.

Sleep Patterns

My sleep patterns could be improved. Sometimes I go to bed at a time later than my parents. Well, that's not acceptable, especially since I'm only 16 months old. I must have the greatest ability to sleep, though; much better than anyone I know. Why, you could be playing the television, the radio, talking, or making noise by cooking or doing dishes, and yet I can close my eyes, put down my head, and fall asleep in the blink of an eye. I'm a great sleeper, too. Nothing can wake me up once I'm out. You could even pick me up and move me to my crib and I won't awaken. I must be filled to the ears with wonderful melatonin and with my comfortable pillow. Besides that I'm really thankful to my parents that they bought me a very nice baby bedding. I love it!

Romantic Lighting

Because I can't always see at night. Because I don't like to bump into things. And because I hate not knowing where my toys are. That's why I like the tungsten lamps we have. I also have a hurricane lamp which we light when the storms come up from Florida. Because we love the way the room looks in the flickering candle light. And because we consider a romantic atmosphere essential. That's why we don't use anything but tungsten incandescent lamps for our lighting fixtures.

Raisins

Guess what? I am good at eating raisins and I love it so much. My grandpa sent us a box of raisins last week. My dad opened it and ate some of it but I was watching him while he was eating. He felt guilty so he shared a couple with me. Without any hesitation I put them in my mouth and chewed them good. Then I started to like them and asked for more from my dad. I kept coming back to him till I got tired. Later this month I am going to order a box of Georgia raisins. They have some of the best. We know some farmers in Georgia and they are going to ship it to us direct. I hope they throw a few carrots in there too. They have the sweetest carrots.

PS3

Young at heart is what I am, being a child. But I play with all my heart. The thing I like most is computer games. The computer game I like most is chess. I can beat my chess program if I set it at a very low level. I cannot beat the program if it is set at a normal or high level. In that case, I turn to an easier game. I cannot say enough about my chess program, but I also try sometimes to play a game called PS3. It is unique and different.

Good at the Restaurant

My grandparents and my parents are very impressed with me because I'm so good in any restaurant we've visited. I'm not the kind of baby who make a big fuss. I have good table manners, that's what my dad said to me. I eat adult food like fish, rice, bread, crackers, fruits and vegetables. Plus I have a good appetite. I can entertain myself too, just playing with my toys at the table. I complain sometimes but mostly I'm really nice. I love listening to music, and I like to play my drums.

Very Friendly Business Loans

Small Business Loans is my number one source for credit. I may be a family baby, but I'm also smart when it comes to loans. Well, the advantages of this company are less stringent requirements, faster approval, and no closing costs or fees. It's really quick and easy to get approve. How do you like that? Then you can use the cash to buy new equipment, fix up your store, or do repairs. The flexibility of this service gets even better. You don't need perfect credit or personal collateral to get this loan. In other words, you can be the next Donald Trump, provided you know how to use loans to bootstrap yourself into a better position. Give it a shot. Take it from a family gal, this is a deal. Get the cash you need quickly without the paperwork hassle today! Good Luck!

Making Face

Since I couldn't talk yet I make face to my parents if I don't like the food that they're giving me. It just a sign so that they'll stop giving me that kind of food. How I wish I can talk and walk soon. All my therapist are working hard for me. My parents know about that I have a weak muscles since I was born. But I'm getting better everyday. I know it takes time to fix everything. But I'm getting there. Can't wait.

Stylish and Cheap Eyeglasses

You who wear eyeglasses may be thinking about getting that newfangled medical procedure called eye surgery to correct your vision, but listen to me before you do. I was thinking the same thing, under the impression that, because of their aggressive ads, that it might be a good idea. But no! I found out from a trusted medical doctor that the surgery route is not the way to go. He gave me all kinds of good reasons why it might hurt the eyes down the line, as you age, or as your eyes change. So I, for one, am sticking with my eyeglasses. Plus, my glasses are an integral part of my personality. Why, just try to imagine Woody Allen without his glasses. Impossible! It wouldn't be him. Same with me. I love my look in my chic eyeglasses, which is why I'm excited to tell you also that the New York Times mentions zennioptical.com which sells generic frames, including lenses with antiscratch coating, for as little as $8. A new and much more economical way of buying prescription eyeglasses. In fact, with these guys you can get complete prescription eyeglasses for as low as $8 per pair, and you glasses will arrive within 2 weeks. You can also get anti-reflective coatings, and 100 percent UV coatings, which is what I always get. Hey, if I was James Bond, you know I'd want a good pair of sunglasses, and with this site you can get prescription sunglasses too. He needed them when he made that trip down the snowy mountain in On Her Majesty's Secret Service because the bad guys were coming after him with flares and machine guns. Get away like James Bond, look as stylish as Britney Spears, make your friends think you're Tom Cruise in your new glasses! Yes, you'll love your new look and you'll see better, too, with these spectacular glasses. I think I look good in blue that's why I choose it. In fact, I urge you guys to check this out today. Spend your money wisely!

Telephone

I heard my mom talking on the phone this afternoon while I was playing my toys. And because I'm so curious I grabbed the phone from her, then I heard the voice of my grandma on the other line. I was so happy to hear from her. She was telling me a short story from the nursery book. Well, I didn't really understand of what she's talking about but I am sure it's a good story. She said that they're going to see us next week. I'm now excited. I really miss them. Can't wait to see them again.
