The poet Sara Teasdale was a depressed individual who took her own life at the point where she could no longer write. She, like her lover, Vachel Lindsay, destroyed herself. Here are some words from Teasdale. The unfortunate young girl had a deep depression. It ruined her life. Of course she could have sought therapy, but she did not. Instead she sought and found oblivion. (Photo: painting of Teasdale.)No one worth possessing
Can be quite possessed;
Lay that on your heart,
My young angry dear.
