Sunrise

The sun rises in the morning now about 6:00 AM and I rise and shin with it. My day starts with the sun and ends with sunset. I am like a farmer. I live like an Amish person. I toil in the sun and get brown as a berry. I am a sun god worshiper and no one can stop me. Thank god I don't live in the land of the Aztecs. Read the book The Golden Bough for more on the horrors they practiced, sacrificing their captors to the sun god. I myself think the sun should just be for enjoyment.

Affordable Auto Insurance

Because auto insurance is so expensive many drivers seek other options, such as taking public transportation. But another option is to seek less costly policies. The method of finding them can be to seek out quotes from Web sites that specialize in obtaining comparisons between different policies. It's always important to look at the company and terms as well as price, however.

Moonlight

I like moonlight and imagine that when the moon rises and goes high in the sky and shines behind clouds,-- I imagine that I will be walking outside and whistling in the dark, and then the moon will sail overhead and illuminate the eerie landscape of the moor, where I am walking with two horses, and it will begin to set in the sky and then disappear. I will go inside and have a cup of hot milk before retiring. I will smoke a pipe or read a short story by my favorite, H.P. Lovecraft or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Then to bed. Perhaps in the morning I will hope for another day like this and another night with my companion the moon.

Expert Auto Body Repair

There are two things a driver needs, gloves and gum. The gloves give you better strength and purchase on the wheel, the steering wheel, and the gum takes your mind off the road and relaxes you. This is my secret for driving excellence. I use this every time I get auto body repair.

I Found Bobby Fisher

I love chess. Not that I can play. It's just that both my parents play and I see them all the time on the computer, yelling things like, "Damn, Fritz!" and "I can't believe the blasted machine won again!" So I know it's a very competitive sport and gets the emotions involved. Well, my favorite chess player is the late Bobby Fisher. Here he is in a rare interview. I just think he has the most amazing personality.

I'm Reading

Today, I tried to read this book. It is very interesting because it's plenty of bright colors. The words are big enough. I tried to understand what I am reading although I couldn't talk yet. I turned the pages too. My parents were very impressed. They said that I'm going to be a genius. Hmmm, I don't really know what they were talking about. It's just an idea. Next time I will do some tricks for them. Lets see.

Icarus

Icarus was the Greek boy who flew up to the sun with wax wings. When he got close to the sun his wings melted. At this point he began to fall. "I made a mistake," he said. But there was no way to break his fall and he plummeted to his death. The story of Icarus is instructive. It suggests that we have gone too far in some endeavor. In the case of cell phones, for instance, we have flown close to the sun. It seemed a great accomplishment. But now the wings are melting and we are plummeting. Many brain tumors will occur over the next ten years because of cell phone use. A recent French study led reviewers to conclude "If the French results hold up, it would indicate that cell phone-induced brain tumors can develop more quickly than current hypotheses suggest."

Horses

I like horses but if I could become only one animal, it would be a fish. The reason is that a fish can swim and I can't, yet. I hope to be able to swim some day. By the way, can a horse swim? That's something I'm going to have to research. The other thing I have to find out is how I can become a fish. If I hope and pray for it, will I become one? I sure hope so, because I would like to be able to swim realy good in our pool. No, we don't have a pool at home, it's across the street in the gy, That reminds me I want to go swimming this summer. More later. If anyone knows how I can become a fish, please tell me.

The Age of Innocence

I just finished reading The Age of Innocence for the second time and it gets better each time. Then I happened across Martin Scorsese's film, and what a powerful and beautiful job he did recreating the world of the New York aristocracy that Wharton depicts in her novel. The story is about Newland Archer, a patrician lawyer who wants to do all the right things in life, and who is marrying May Welland (another aristocratic character) as one of those things which seems right and proper. Then he meets c and his life is forever changed, though not so radically in outward aspects as in inward aspects. Here is a glimpse of the sumptuous sets and setting for the film, which was shot in all the right places. Edith Wharton's novel is the starting point for all this lusciousness.

Tom Wolfe

This clip isn't long, just 51 seconds, so come on and watch it because you can do that while reading this; and I just want you to notice one thing about Tom Wolfe and that's his white suit; you see, that white suit is his trademark, a part of his persona that helped him define himself in a sea of other writes and helped him stand out from the crowd, and this is my type of writer, a person who comes before the world and says, "Here I am you bums, stand aside, I'm here to rip apart this town and make it my own!"

Great Shower Curtains and Grocery Bags

I got out of the car last week and realized I had forgotten the fabric shower curtains at the store. I was so disappointed. But I was too tired to drive back. Instead I went online and visited Cozy Homewares and found even better fabric shower curtains, so much better, in fact, that I called and canceled my other order and asked for a rebate! Now that's what I call a great shower curtain, one that can make you give up others you already bought. Like those vinyl curtains that research indicates perfume your bathroom with more than a hundred polluting chemical substances, including estrogen mimicking aromatics. Fabric shower curtains are totally water resistant and don't release harmful chemicals. Plus the site also has reusable cotton and canvas grocery bags which can help you go green and aid the beleaguered environment. Now that's what I call a win win situation.

Sliding

The faster I kick my feet in my crib the more my socks loosen. I also pull at my socks whenever my feet happen to hit my hands and I grab the feet, often yanking my socks clear off. When I get a sock loose and try to crawl, I slip and slide like crazy. The knees under me and working good, but my arm strength is still sub par, and I must work on that with my trainer today. But the big problem is slipping and sliding. The one consolation I have in all of this is that I can always chew my socks.

Balance

My balance isn't as good as some kids, but I have a greater ability to relax. Balance is necessary for any kind of gymnastics, I realize that; but I am receiving help from a personal trainer and I believe my balance will improve substantially very soon. My ability to relax is greater than that of most people; this is a trait I inherited from my mother and father. They are both very relaxed people — at times. My dad often asks me, "Do you understand me? Yes or no?" I don't, of course, because I can't understand speech yet. But I'm a very good listener. People are going to love talking with me because I listen so well.

Cincinnati Lapband Surgery

Bariatric surgery means surgery for obese (bariatric) individuals. You may be searching for something like lapband surgeon cincinnati. It is worth investigating all your options, including dieting, before selecting lap band surgery or any weight-loss quick-fix solution. The advantages and disadvantages should be considered carefully, including the risk of complications, the post-operative mortality statistics, and other factors. By law doctors must disclose this information to you before you undergo any operation.

I have Fun

My dear friend came over today to play with me for an hour. She is very nice. We had so much fun. She is helping me reachg toys in front of me. I know that she's encouraging me to crawl and talk more. I tried to follow and understand what she said. But sometimes it's a little bit confusing. I'm still working on crawling. She said that I made some progress on it. I'm so glad that I was able to please her. Well, it takes time for everything.

Surgical Weight-Loss

If you are thinking about surgery to cut excess pounds off, you hopefully will be doing your research and may have considered a procedure known as lap band surgery. Those medical centers offering this quick-fix solution to weight problems, such as lap band surgarland, would like you to believe that this procedure is safer than dieting or cutting carbohydrates, that the risk is small, and that you will recover quickly.

Crawling

I am crawling today. I started today and then I said a few words. It was really nice to crawl. Yesterday was the day I actually did it. That is Wednesday, August 6th. It was a nice day, weather-wise, and I decided to crawl. I did not get far. I moved a fraction of an inch forward, but it is a big day for me and for my parents. I also started talking today. I mean I've been talking all along, only no one could understand me. Now they do understand me and they know what I'm saying. At least they think they know. I babble or make a sound and they repeat it. Then my dad only comes to me when I make a sound. So the sound has meaning. It means play with me.

Fruit Shake

Mommy made a fruit shake for me yesterday. First, I didn't have any idea what is in my honey bear bottle. So I tried to sip in it. Oh, it was delicious. But I couldn't finish it all. I had a good day because of this delicious drink and this fun drinking method, which very few of my friends use. I hope to see my honey bear tomorrow.

Amazing Skin Care

Emerge Skin Care iLift Eye Serum contains hyaluronic acid, which has been shown to be beneficial to skin. In fact if you use this product you are certain to see some results. We have used products with DMAE and pycnogenol, and this product's inclusion of hyaluronic acid indicates that it is targeted for skin regrowth. Potential users may wish to research ingredients before application to the eye area.

Gum for Babies

I do not chew gum yet, instead I chew socks, ribbons, and the straps of my stroller. In fact, of all the toys and pacifiers I've been given, my favorite thing to chew (in effect, my chewing gum) is the black strap on my stroller. I also like gray straps and red ribbons. The other day I was chewing a wad of paper towel and my father had to wrench open my jaw and fish it out. I can't see chewing gum when those straps and ribbons are so tasty. I'm not afraid of eating paper, either.

Sounds

The sounds of the world amaze me. There's so many different things to listen to, and often these sounds are going on at the same time. Like tonight when we went out to the restaurant I could hear the sounds of traffic, my parents talking, and passersby in the street; then inside the restaurant there was the incessant chatter of customers; the clatter of dishes, the talk of the waiters, and the sound of utensils and glasses clinking; all very pleasant background to my meal.
