Taking my Nap

After I drank my milk I took my nap while mom was working on her blog. Dad is so busy of doing our taxes. So to give a favor to them, I just stayed quiet and tried not bothering them. I have to be nice so that they can finish their work early. Then maybe I'll go to the circus with them this weekend. They've been talking about the lions and elephants in the circus all week. I never went to a circus before and can't wait.

My Hair

I can't believe my hair is getting longer now. I noticed that the end is a little bit curly. I think I inherited this from my grandma Rusty. And the color is red brown just like my grandma's hair. I know mom got jealous of me. I heard her say that she loves my hair. And she's thinking of dyeing her hair just like the color of my hair. Then, people will say that I'm really her daughter, hahaha. My dad just said, "Forget dyeing your hair. Dyeing your hair is very dangerous. There is a strong correlation between the use of hair dye and lymphoma. Jackie Kennedy used black hair dye and got lymph cancer. So forget the dye! Get a wig."

Chewing My Foot

My parents are enjoying watching me while I'm having fun chewing my bare foot. I couldn't help myself for chewing it. Sometimes I put my both hands in my mouth. Even though mom keeps giving me the pacifier, but I got bored having my pacifier everyday. I like something different too.

Mango Shake

I had a mango shake this afternoon. Mmmmmmmm, it was yummy and delicious. I drank a half cup of it. Boy, I felt so good. How I wish to have it every day. I know it is impossible because the mango is seasonal. Me and mom bought the mangoes last week in the Filipino store. In fact, we gave some to my grandparents. And they both love it and asked for more.

Climbing and Crawling

Everything depends on perspective. From my point of view a molehill is a mountain. In other words a little heap of blankets can be as challenging as Mt. Everest. I began my day with the little milk fortified with Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and fish oil. Yacht! My stomach was doing flip flops and I was ready for and excursion into the nether regions of my crib. A crumpled blanket in the corner was my Everest- and I made my way toured it, looking left and right for some help from friendly Sherpas. What a climb it was! And the amazing thing is I did it all myself when I got to the top I took a nap.

Mom was giving me a nice surprise today. I love the color of this. I had so much fun hugging this stuff. It is very soft. Whenever I pull the handle, it plays music for me. This is great! Can't wait to have more...

High chair

I got a high chair today, and what a terrific thing it is. Now I can sit so close to my parents it's like I'm at the table with them. My dad carried it all the way home from the store, and I heard him saying, "This is light, like it only weighs about 25 pounds." But then as we got closer to home he was saying, "I wish we were there already!"

My First Day of Crawling

My parents were amazed when I started to crawl yesterday. They were smiling and both happy when I moved my hands and knees on the floor. I'm so slow, I can't almost lift my body. But I'm trying hard for it. I know little by little I can be able to crawl good. It takes time to learn these things. I have to be patient and work hard next time. Mom puts me on my tummy every morning. She thinks that it helps my neck get stronger. But I don't really know about it. I don't like to be on my belly. I hate it. Well, I know it's just for now, until I'm finally able to walk.

What a Nice Day

I was so happy when I went outside today. The temperature is very mild. I didn't even wear my coat. I felt the breeze coming from the river. My parents were enjoying it too. There are so many people walking on the boardwalk. I think almost everybody here is taking advantage of this beautiful weather. How I wish the rest of the days are just like this. I know it is impossible to be true.

Yesterday and Today

I went to the mall yesterday and also today too. Mom bought a get well card to send to my grandpa. It's because my grandpa had a cold a couple of days ago. I didn't really know what kind of cold he had. I forgot to ask my parents about it. But I felt dizzy and tired looking at the people passing by me. Mom was busy selecting a dress shirt for my dad. And then finally she bought one; so after paying at the register we headed back home. However, when my dad saw the shirt that my mom bought for him, he said that it's not the right size for him. So, that's why today we went back to the mall for the exchange. Thank God the mall is very close to where we live. We can walk down there.

My Throat

I went to the ENT doctor last Friday. He checked my throat. He said that it will take a year or two before I can become an opera singer. It's because it's still in the process of developing. I couldn't wait to reach that point. I am still suffering from my breathing a little bit from my cold last week. Plus, I have a runny nose. It's really interfering with my sleeping. My parents are using a humidifier for me to clean-up the air. Every now and then my parents vacuum my nose. I didn't really particularly like it though but I let them do it so that I will able to breath better. I really want to be an opera star.

6 Months Old

I am now 6 months old today. I am a little bit older and wiser. My mother was giving me a birthday treat by feeding me a mango. I love it; it was delicious. Whenever I see the spoon is coming to my mouth I make a sound. Mom didn't know about what I mean. I couldn't tell her that I really love the food. I know that she got confused right now. But time will come, I can able to communicate them. Then everything will be easier.
